Role And Responsibility

The rules and the accountabilities to be followed by Police for handling Juvenile are mentioned as listed below:-

• Police Officers who have to deal with the Juveniles must be given special training and must follow specific instructions.
• Juveniles must be taken care by the Child Welfare Officers or the NGO or anyone from voluntary group.
• There must be special police assigned for the Juvenile in each district or the existing police must be trained to handle the juvenile’s.
• Juveniles must be liable to attain legal support in the cases of exploitation, brutality and manipulations.
• The adults who have dome crime against any children must be punished under appropriate legal act.
