Gender Sensitization

Formerly called the Caw unit, short special police unit for children and women, Nanakpura has organized a training programme for the gender sensitization of the police officers. This is a regular and long going exercise. Focused on improving the response aimed towards the women victims, this programme introduces admin and supervisory officers to some new trends which target the problems of women and its possible remedies.

Continuous deliberations are organized with the help of Delhi Legal Services Authorities, Delhi Commission for women and NGOs etc with an aim to implore their thoughts on alerting the policemen to fetch attitudinal changes in their psychological process and perception.
