Delhi Police is concerned about its tourists and eventually in August 2004, they set up a Tourist Police. To help tourists, MPVs have been stationed at important locations/places i.e. at Paharganj (that is on the railway station side), India Gate, Janpath, Palika Bazaar, Qutub Minar, Red Fort, Rajghat, Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station, New Delhi Railway Station and Indira Gandhi International Airport.
