Features of Feeder Buses

• These buses can accommodate 18-20 people for sitting and 10 people in standing.
• Such buses have CNG engine, hence are eco-friendly.
• There are control centres directed for monitoring the vehicle movement. Further, they even have control room operators, traffic inspectors and traffic managers.
• These buses have fan in them.
• The buses are equipped with fire extinguisher and first aid box.

Fare Structure

According to the notification number FAS (STA/2009/PF II/73-75 dated 8.12.10 of STA with respect to the fare of NON AC buses of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation is ensuing below -

Rs 5.00: Upto to 4 Kms
Rs 10.00: 4 to 10 Kms
Rs 15.00: Above 10 Kms

Metro Feeder Bus Depot

Currently, the depots are nestled at Kohat Enclave and Shashtri Park. DMRC even has plans for setting up more depots in future near Paschim Vihar, Sudampuri, Yamuna Bank and Chhatarpur.
