DMRC or Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has started a mobile helpline number so that passengers can enquire about their lost items and belongings. This number is 8527405555. This helpline number is for people who travel within Delhi through Metro. One can call from 10 am to 5 pm from Monday to Saturday and enquire about their lost items.

Apart from this number, there is a land line number of the office of Lost and Found that is located at the Kashmere Gate Metro Station. This land line number is 011-23860837. This is already very often used by the passengers.

DMRC also showcases the list of items that are lost on www.delhimetrorail.com, its official website under “Lost and Found” section. People who claim the items must approach the respective DMRC stations within twenty four hours of display of such item on the website.

But if the passengers fail to reclaim their belongings within 24 hours, they will then have to approach the main office of Lost and Found at the Metro Station located at Kashmere Gate. According to the practices, the DMRC sends all the lost items at this station every twenty four hour. Henceforth, they are safe with the office till the owner claims the same.
