Cycle Rickshaws

Cycle Rickshaws for Everyone

A cycle rickshaw is a vehicle that runs on three wheels. It has a seat for a driver at the front and a seat at the back for the passengers.  At a time, these cycle rickshaws can carry up to 4 passengers. They are mostly used travelling to places that are not too far away. When a place is quite far to reach by walk, but too close to take a bus or auto or taxi, cycle-rickshaws are the ones that come to the rescue of the traveller. The maximum journey of these vehicles is on an average of 1 or 2km and the fares are usually fixed at ₹20. Metres are not fixed in these vehicles. These are found in Old Delhi in large numbers and are best used to travel around the walkways and feel the real essence of the place.

Battery Rickshaws / E- Rickshaws / Mayuri

Just like cycle rickshaws, the e-rickshaws too are used by passengers for travelling to places that are quite near like bus stops, colleges, universities, metro train stations etc. These vehicles are known for their miniature sizes and great turning potentials. These are indeed a blessing on lanes that are narrow and those places that are prone to traffic congestion.  Usually people make use of these e-rickshaws to go to places that are within the vicinity of a specific location like golf courses, hotels, resorts etc.
