Metro

Considered as an ongoing project, Delhi Metro has six lines, of which one is Airport Express. All these are completely operational. Delhi Metro surpasses the passenger’s expectations by being extremely efficient, impeccable in speed, modern in travel with well equipped and air conditioned coaches. Keeping in mind the security of women, it also has “ladies only” coach.

DMRC or Delhi Metro Rail Corporation initiated with a mission to embrace the entire city with its network by the end of 2021.

Ring Railway

Running parallel to the crowded Ring Road, the Ring Railways is one of the popular circular rail networks of Delhi that was commenced at the times of Asian Games in the year 1982. This system is in actual not that popular amid the commuters and has completely failed, when compared to other modes of public transportation. The main reasons for its failure include - less population density of the areas to which it reaches and absence of proper connectivity. However to overcome this, the network is now used which is the freight corridor along with restricted passenger train services which are offered during peak hours only.
