Lado Sarai Golf Course

The Lado Sarai Golf Course or the Qutub Golf Course is the first ever public golf course to have been built in India. Though initially designed by Stephen Kay, Brig Virendra Kumar later took over the course’s construction and design.

The golf course started with just 9 holes in January 2000 but in May 2002, a further 9 holes were additionally commissioned, thus converting it into an authentic 18 hold golf course. Developed by Delhi Development Authority (DDA), golf course is located on the way to Qutub Minar, about 5 km off the Ring Road. Aurobindo Marg is to the west of the golf course, while there is Lado Sarai village on the south, Press Enclave Road on the north and DDA SFS flats to the east of the club. The golf course can be reached from the Press Enclave Road.

Lado Sarai Golf Course is open to general public and with the ‘pay and play’ option offered by DDA to the common citizens, who till now could not afford to play golf at exclusive and expensive clubs can do so at this golf course. The golf course spread over 250 yards, offers a state of the art driving range and also training facilities for beginners.
