Army Golf Course

The AEPTA (Army) course, located near Dhaula Kuan off the Maneckshaw road, is the busiest army golf course in the country. It offers a challenging 18 hole, Par 72 layout in the 6499 yard. The sprawling tree covers and challenging holes make the Army Golf Course one of the most sought after golf clubs in the country. The golf course offers some very unique features such as elevation changes and sharp dogleg holes. Playing at the Army Golf Course will improve the game of any golfer, no doubt, as playing in such a well designed golf course needs strategic thinking and accuracy along with a good use of the long and short irons. A golfer’s ability to draw and fade the ball off the tee will also be well tested here.

The golf course provides a good driving range comprising putting and chipping greens, thus making it a dream golf club for any golf enthusiasts. The surrounding is also suitable for pro trainers to train budding golfers. Since the range is floodlit, it can be used in the late evenings also but only till 2030 hours.

Other facilities at the golf course include a massive clubhouse offering excellent F & B services for golfers from other parts of the country. The refreshment huts promises delicious fare to golfers after a tiring time at the golf course. This is not all. There are also few courses that have pro shops. The golf course is open to all and is one of the most convenient golf courses in India. It is not open to foreigners though. The Army Golf Course is listed on the Golf Today website as one of the most comprehensive golf courses in India.
