The National Science Centre located in Delhi is very popular among children. There is a unique collection of science models here and these arouse the interest of children. This way, the science models are used to help children understand how science can be used in an effective manner in our daily lives. It is all about having fun while learning. It is a centre of The National Council of Science Museum (NCSM) and is one of the best where interesting artefacts and science models are displayed.
There are huge collections of exhibits based on different scientific theories and laws related to different themes are showcased here. Live demonstrations help students understand these theories better. The models displayed at the Human Biology Gallery are especially very intriguing. Children just love the Dinosaur’s gallery displaying animals of the Mesozoic era. India’s contribution to science and mathematics is also showcased in galleries along with Noble Prize Winners and famous people of the field. There is a huge library stacked with books, a planetarium and a cyber school where many courses for students and teachers are held. Key chains, t-shirts and chinaware can be bought at the souvenir shop. National Science Center in Delhi is truly fascinating and captivating.
