Intervention Team

The “Intervention Team” initially comprised of 40 number of women police team that were managed under 20 beats by the officer who was equivalent to the rank of that of a Deputy Police Commissioner who was appointed to be a head of this team. The other teams comprised of members who belonged to different spheres of profession like sociologists, professionals belonging to medicines, psychology, law and management etc. This programme became successful and hence was later implemented in 40 beats that were operational in Northern west and outer district areas.

The team together worked in growth, progress and enactment on the idea of intervention programme. The tasks, culpability and errands of every member was properly designed and mentioned in standard operating procedures:-
