First Cut Off List to Come Out by June 25 for Delhi Universitys Online Admissions

Online admission process in Delhi University has begun from today whose first cut-off list is to come out by June 25. The university has already begun process for its online admission for many courses to enroll 54,000 students. Admission forms will be available in campus from now. As huge traffic is expected online the university has taken keen measures to involve strong and dedicated servers for that purpose.

May 28 to June 15 is the period fixed for online registration process. Registration center will accept offline forms from June 5 to June 15 but first cut-off list would be on June 25, said the university sources.

Additional measures include suspension of stream-wise cut offs and other reforms for easy application processing. University authorities have geared up with the desired satisfactory precautions through arranging backup servers to ascertain that unexpected huge traffic can be handled easily. According to DU Spokesperson and Joint Dean of Students' Welfare Malay Neerav ‘in case students find university website going slow for some time they can try after sometime to get the enrollment done.’ Such measures have been taken by keeping in consideration the incidence of website crush experience previous year on the first day itself.

University website www.du.ac.in will have the presence of Centralised Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) forms which applicants can fill and make Internet banking payment to complete application. The university has also made admission process smoother and uniform for all colleges’ hence extra eligibility criteria on students as imposed by few colleges previously has been ended.
