Bike-on-Rent facility to be Launched to Encourage Tourists

With the purpose to provide final mile road connectivity to all the vacationer locations within metropolis, Delhi authorities will soon launch the facility of bike on rent for tourists in Delhi. As per the plan of tourism division, bikes will be obtained at metro stations, railway stations and ISBTs and in all necessary locations in Delhi.

Jitender Singh Tomar, tourism minister said that there are many tourist sites in Delhi and so government has planned to encourage tourists to visit these destinations by launching this facility of bike on rent in Delhi. Department has decided to launch this facility to encourage tourists to visit these sites and give them last mile road connectivity.

While planning for giving bike on rent for tourists in Delhi, Tomar said that the tourists will need to park their bikes at the same place from where they got the bike on rent. The minister added that all those people who want to take the bikes on rent for visiting the tourist destinations will need to submit and provide their identity at the bike counters and then only they would be provided bike on rent in Delhi. The officials are finalizing the bikes’ numbers and rent of the bikes.
