17 Additional Trains to Delhi Metro

Delhi Metro introduces seventeen New Metro Trains in Delhi for the commuters who experience great rush during the peak morning hours. The launch of these trains shall undertake 104 additional trips during great rush (i.e during 11 am to 4.30 pm in morning and from 4.30 pm to 8.30 pm in the evening). These trains to Delhi metro will run on all lines including Green Line as well as the express line of airport. These trains will be part of the DMRC – Delhi Metro Railway Corporation’s measure to control crowd.

This move is targeted to decongest the evening peak hours when there is extreme rush of passengers. This initiative also encourages the commuters to take opportunity of new metro trains in Delhi during peak hours. As per the novel operation plan, blue line which connects Dwarka to Noida as well as the Yellow Line which links Jahangirpuri to Gurgaon is the busiest lines of metro. It is these lines which shall now have new metro trains running on them.

Infact the new metro trains would also run on blue line apart from the yellow line. The number of metro trains has been increased on both lines respectively to provide comfort to the commuters who have to effort for space during morning and evening office hours. Infact to cut off the hassle a train will also be allowed to run on blue line. As per the DMRC authorizes the daily ridership of trains to Delhi Metro features 25 lakh every day. Addition of 17 new trains will certainly benefit these commuters.
