Enjoy Bharat Parv in Delhi through Cuisines and Cultural Events at Various Places

On the occasion of Independence Day, it is also right time that India celebrates the unity of its cuisines and cultures. The Cultural Ministry’s flagship scheme of Bharat Parv is creating waves across the nation which is aimed at reviving the cultural milieu in urban India is all set to inculcate an opportunity to Indians to experience varied cuisines. The people from different parts of the country have been asked to perform on the occasion that includes folk dance such as Bhaangda, phag dance, ghoomar and many more. Also at the garden of Five senses, street vendors from 13 states have been invited to put up stalls.

Festivals of India

Apparently this also has the approval from Prime Minister. The Bharat Parv launched at Dilli Haat INA on 10th August is in line with the Government initiative to celebrate “festivals of India” to build the brand of India. This also provides platform to enhance image of the country while also upholding the Indian heritage in foreign nations.

The events include dances, theme based art exhibitions and cultural events. As part of the Bharat Parv, similar events will be replicated in India. In initial phase, these will be organized in Metro cities and thereafter feasibility of the same will be explored in other urban cities.

Schedule of Bharat Parv

As of now, on occasion of Independence day, Dilli Haat Janakpuri will celebrate the Bharat parv from 7th August till 15th August, which Dilli Haat at Pitampura had events from 8th August till 12th August only. People can also take part in the events at Meghdoot Theatre on Ferozshah Road from 9th August till 14th August while the event is organized for 5 days at Garden of Five senses from 10th August onwards. All these events will be held for only five hours on the dates specified above from 5 till 10 in the evening.
