Delhi University Offline Admissions to Begin Today

Nearly two thousand admission forms got sold out on the very first day of Delhi University’s offline admissions process for undergrad course which began last week on 5th June 2015. Approximately 21813 forms got sold on first day of this offline DU admission process while the max of these forms were sold off at SGTB Khalsa College since it is the sole registration center in entire North Campus, as per Malay Neerav, spokesperson of Delhi University, who is also the Joint Dean of Student’s Welfare.

With Delhi University having started the online admission process 8 days in advance to conventional Delhi University Offline Admissions, it was observed that there was significant decline in the admission seeker’s inclination towards filling paper form for DU Admissions. Comparing with the last year, nearly 32,461 forms were sold on first day and eighteen registration centers were appointed.

Now that online admission process has started, DU received 2.3 lakh of application forms for admission in DU. Candidates number registered by 5:30 pm of 5th June was 2,35,728 of which 1,41,590 have already made the payment.

Other 8 registration centers for offline forms for DU admissions are:

  2. Shyam Singh College
  3. Rajdhani College
  4. PG DAV College
  5. Maharaja Agrasen College
  6. Gargi College
  7. Dyal Singh College
  8. Atma Ram Sanatan Dharm College

There are total 54000 under grads courses offered by DU.
