The admission process for Delhi University (DU), one of India’s most prestigious universities has commenced on 28th May for the new academic year. The university opened about 54,000 seats for aspiring students across DU’s various campuses and colleges in the National Capital Region. The online admission process for Delhi University was opened on 28th May, where in students can log on to http://www.du.ac.in/ to apply to the college of their choice. The sale of application forms will commence from 5th June in the centers designated by DU across the South Campus, North Campus and other affiliated colleges.

While online application is one of the best options to stay away from the scorching heat in the capital, it is best to draw out a list of things to carry for DU admissions, if one intends to visit a designated center for the admission process. The most important thing to carry is sufficient water and a packet of biscuits or chips to save energy in the scorching sun. The other important things to carry for DU admissions include good pencils for completing OMR sheets, 10 passport size photographs of the student and 5 passport size photographs of the parents in a neat envelope, pen with black ink, stapler and box of stapler pins, caste certificate if applicable, sufficient cash and bag to keep all things safe.
