Delhi Metro's 'Heritage Walk' to Explore Old Delhi

On the world tourism day, the life line of Delhi, - Metro is making efforts to bring together conventional and traditional Delhi’s heritage, history and culture close to its residents. For this it is organizing a walk which would help the people explore walled city which camp up at the times of Mughal Era. This walk is named as the Delhi Metro Heritage Walk.

Such walk would happen for the first time in link with the Delhi Walks. This is an organization which works in tourism sector. The walk would also involve metro ride starting from Gurgaon’s Huda City Center together with Metro Museum’s tour which is based at Patel Chowk Station. The Delhi Metro Railway Corporation shall provision this Delhi Metro Heritage Walk on the special occasion of the World Tourism Day from 8 am to 11:30 am.

The charges for this walk would be INR 1056 per person who is above the age of 15 years while for those falling between 8 to 15 years shall be charged INR 528. Any child below the age of 8 years will not be charged anything. The first walk is hosted from HUDA Metro Station while shall conclude at Chandni Chowk Metro Station. Between this, the participants of the heritage walk shall visit the metro station museum which is located at Patel Chowk. This museum showcases the mass rapid network’s story since its commencement as it highlights its wonderful milestones.

On reaching the Chandni Chowk station, these participants shall be taken around the region which is called Shahjahanbad.
