  • Upon finding the outlet, provide details like your mobile number, smart card number and the recharge amount that you wish (upper limit – 3000INR, lower limit – 100INR) to the agent at the outlet.
  • Now pay the amount that you have quoted in the above step to the agent in cash.
  • The agent initiates the process which might take a few seconds.
  • Upon successful completion of process, you will be intimated through an SMS about the status of your process.
  • If the recharge process has failed, you will be intimated about the reason as well.
  • If the recharge process is successful, you will be asked to validate the same. Validation of the process if the final step and failure to do this, will not complete the top-up process.
  • For validation, you will be required to swipe your card at any of the hundreds of automatic ticket vending machines located just adjacent to the customer care centre of the metro stations.
  • Once you do this, your card has been topped up with the necessary amount and ready to be used for travel.
