Delhi has always been a place that houses many of the historical buildings. Delhi is a city located in the northern part of the country and is a must visit place when excursion to north India is planned. The city provides very nice transportation system by running the more and more number of buses along with the recently started metro rail system that very well covers the major tourist destinations of the city. The tourist can enjoy the various food delicacies that are available in the city. There are various shopping areas spread all over the city. Few of the famous shopping zones of the city are mentioned below:-

1. Sarojini Nagar Market

People can shop here for home decoration articles, women apparels like sari, suits, western clothes like jeans, tops, leather articles, travelling bags etc. People have all choices to bargain as each shop offers different prices for same articles. Though the market does not have much of the branded stuff yet few of the brands available in the market are Reebok, Adidas, John players, Duke and Van Heusen. The market is very close to INA metro station. The most important thing is that the market remains open on Sundays.

Though people can’t shop for branded clothing’s though but local made clothes, bags and foot wear along with accessories can be easily purchased from this market. The market is built with very narrow lanes and generally remains crowded and jammed with traffic.
