Fun N Food Village

 ‘Fun 'N' Food Village’ in Delhi is an important picnic destination established in 1993. It is located at a distance of three km from New Delhi international airport. It offers merriment and amusement for people of all ages. This theme park was inaugurated by the former President of India, Mr. Giani Zail Singh.

It is an ideal destination for families and friends from Delhi and the neighboring areas for a weekend recreation. It is different from the routine amusement park and contains traditional handicraft markets, eatery and restaurants. Also, cultural activities, folk dances, pop music and dance forms of different parts of the country are organized by renowned artists.

Attractions of Fun ‘N’ Food Village

Travelers can enjoy some of the excellent fun and amusement rides at Fun 'N' Food Village, Delhi. Some of the varieties of rides which are available at Fun 'N' Food Village are aqua Pool, Flying Carpet and Mono Rail. However, the most exciting ride is the wave pool. This Wave pool has the distinction of being the largest wave pools available in the whole of Delhi regions.

The Fun Park also houses an indoor park - 'Snow Park' built at an area of 2.5 Sq km which gives an excellent feeling of being in a snow land to the children. The Fun 'N' Food Village have a total of twenty two water slides and twenty one amusement rides. It also has kids play area and many other entertainment areas. Rain dance is organized at Fun 'N' Food Village during summer season. This attracts thousands of people who come here to get some relief from the scorching heat and blazing sun.

Fun ‘N’ Food Village has a 400 feet water slide which is the largest water slide in the country by the name ‘Lazy River’. This is an excellent destination to enjoy with family and friends and organizing picnics. The spot also provides excellent mouth watering food ranging from different cuisines.

How to Reach

Travel towards Gurgaon and then turn right from Shiv Murti on Palam Vihar Gurgaon Road. The destination can also be reached by boarding bus no. 729 and getting down at Kapashera border. This is the last stop.
