Old Age Home At Lampur

The city of Delhi has two old age homes run by the Government of NCT and one of them is located at Lampur that can house a total of 100 senior people. Currently, this old age home has only 16 people staying who are managed by 9 employees that also include a doctor and nurse. There is also a Programme Manager who works for old age home. This old age home works in association with government and NGO that is named Delhi Brotherhood Society. This partnership was started on September 2009 that has 50 percent seats for government nominated person and 50 percent for paid seats. The old age home is aided with a periodic and non-periodic amount for the people being served on government seats. There is a committee that is formed for permission of admission to this old age home that comprise of Deputy Director, Project Manager and District Social Welfare Officer.
