• The concession provided by Indian Airlines to the senior citizens is 50 percent of the total cost of the fare for economy class bookings for domestic travel. This facility is only for the senior Indian citizens who are of age 65 years or above for male passengers and 63 years or above for female passengers.

• The other facility is for the senior citizens who are of age 60 years and above and travel by Air India flights must get concession for flights to UK, USA and Europe. The age bar for receiving concession by senior members for domestic flights of Air India has been reduced to minimum of 60.

• The Sahara Airlines have offered a discount of 50 percent on total basic fare for travel through domestic flights for senior persons who are of age 62 and above. This discounted fare is for economy class travels only.
