A) Application form Part-I (Click to Download) along with the below mentioned documents (four copies of each).

The application forms and all its enclosures are sent to the respective Districts DCsP. Verification for criminal record as well as antecedents of Owner, Printer, Publisher, Applicant, Place of printing press and place of publication is done. Also, the same form is sent to registrar of Newspapers of India where the title proposed by the applicant is allotted.

    For authentication of declaration

B) The applicant needs to file declaration and submit the following documents after the title is obtained:-

The appointment letter from the owner needs to be submitted if the publisher is not the owner as proof that the owner has appointed the printer/ publisher of newspaper on his behalf.

Publication can be commenced within 6 weeks after authentication of declaration if the newspaper/magazine is to be published once a week or more often and within three months in other cases.

Fresh declaration can be filed by any publisher and printer desiring to make changes in the earlier declaration on the following grounds:-
