DDA Master Plans

The main aim of the DDA Master Plan formed in 1962 was to provide a structured and planned development of the Delhi city which was otherwise in a disorganized manner. The DDA was vested with the responsibility of identifying new land in the city that can be developed into residential properties for inhabitation of independent colonies consisting of commercial workplaces. The DDA Master plan underwent a revision in the year 1982 for development of Master Plan 2001. It was then re-revised in 2007 to develop the Delhi Master Plan 2021. These plans aim at developing an infrastructure required to accommodate a population of 128 Lakhs.
